I attended John Lea School between 1956 and 1959. I moved to Daventry in 1967 and return to Wellingborough regularly to visit family. During a family get together I learned the school was to be demolished. In 2001 I had some spare time and decided to research the history of school in the hope of building an archive and producing a book....
